Investment Education That Works

Our programme helps you understand investment instruments through practical examples and realistic scenarios.

We started this because too many people jump into investing without understanding what they're doing. The next cohort begins in September 2025, giving you time to prepare properly.

Built Around Real Questions

Most courses throw theory at you. We start with the questions people actually ask when they're considering investing their own money.

Like why bonds behave differently during inflation. Or what actually happens when you buy an ETF. The kind of stuff that sounds simple until you need to make a decision.

Each session runs for two hours. We cover one instrument type thoroughly rather than rushing through everything. By the end, you'll know enough to evaluate whether something makes sense for your situation.

How It Actually Works

The programme runs over twelve weeks. Three distinct phases, each building on what came before.

1

Foundation Month

We start with how financial markets actually operate. Not the textbook version but the practical mechanics.

You'll learn to read financial statements without getting lost in jargon. We cover risk assessment using real company examples. By week four, you'll understand why some investments pay dividends while others focus on growth.

2

Instrument Analysis

This is where we dig into specific investment types. Equities, bonds, funds, and alternative instruments.

Each week focuses on one category. We look at historical performance data, fee structures, and tax implications. You'll analyse real portfolios and spot the differences between marketing claims and actual value.

3

Portfolio Construction

The final month brings everything together. You'll build a sample portfolio based on different scenarios.

We discuss diversification strategies that make sense for Irish investors. You'll learn to evaluate costs, rebalance portfolios, and adjust strategies when circumstances change. The final session covers common mistakes and how to avoid them.

Who Teaches This

Three professionals who've spent years working with investment instruments. They explain concepts clearly because they've answered the same questions hundreds of times.

What You Get

Beyond the weekly sessions, you'll have access to resources that actually help.

  • Analysis templates for evaluating different instruments
  • Historical data sets showing how various assets performed
  • Tax planning guides specific to Irish regulations
  • Case studies from real portfolio decisions
  • Access to recordings if you miss a session

The materials stay relevant because we update them quarterly. Investment fundamentals don't change much, but regulations and market conditions do.

Ready to Learn Properly?

The September 2025 cohort opens for enrolment in June. Limited to thirty participants so everyone gets proper attention.

Sessions happen Tuesday and Thursday evenings at our Falcarragh office. You can also join remotely if that works better for your schedule.
